t&c 1999 ac leak and smell
 

i need help with the ac leak i have 1999 t&c limited and my ac is not working one thing fan speed only work at high so i guess its resistor second i bought r134 filled it up but it only worked for a day or so i can smell r134 from the vents took it to shop they said its eveporater behind the dash and will cost me 1000+ $ , i need help finding the locationof both problem anddiagrams so i can work on it my self or atleast take the dash out so the laboris not that much, right now its just blowing hot air and for 5 min you can smell nasty odor .

GO to your local dealer and ask them to make a copy from there computer on step by step instuctions on removal and instalation of evap and heating unit. They have this information from chrysler on line. I use it often.
