T & C side view mirror repair
 

Hello Chrysler family,

I am in need of information on how to repair/replace a side view mirror. My wife just purchased a 2012 T&C. The other day she hit the driver's side view mirror when entering the garage. Now when driving, the mirror shakes. It feels as if it is not as secure as the passenger side mirror. And when looking behind the mirror it appears as if the bracket that the mirror is attached to is cracked.
I would like to know if it is possible to disassemble the mirror in order to replace the damaged part? Does anyone have experience with removing or disassembling the side view mirror? Or does the service manual discuss this? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. If I can fix the mirror on my wife's brand new 'baby' (and do it before Valentine's Day), I may coming out looking like a hero : )
