T80 gearbox, unusual specific sound only in idle gear
 

Hi!

My father asked me to make a topic here since he's getting quite desperate. He recently had his Voyager's gearbox changed and now it's making this specific noise in idle gear(only in idle gear). It's a manual gearbox with 2,5 engine.

Have you got any idea what it might be/be caused by? English isn't my native language and frankly I don't know much about the mechanics of a car and if I come off too vague - please ask any questions you might have as I can specify from my father. Even if you've heard something along the lines of this problem, please post it - we'd appreciate it a lot.

The model of the gearbox is actually T 850.

hi, sound like you the same problem as me. I think its the main shaft bearing,but hoped someone had had the same problem.
