Default Too many gear indicator lights

Today I got into my 2006 T&C (86,300miles) I tried to start it. Nothing. I never have issues with this van. I tried a 2nd time. It turned on and idled fine, but I noticed in the area under PRND## (I can't remember the numbers) usually only the gear that the van is in is lit up. Which would habe been park, however this time every single spot was lit up. So I turned it off and had it towed home. I was scared to ruin something. I did not drive it at all. I did try 2 more times to turn it on and nothing. Was wondering if anyone e has had this happen. Any ideas?

Had a Stratus ones that did the same thing , never did it again !

It did not set error code and never did again so it's diffcult to finde the error.

I suspect a bad ground conection or battery was a little low power. I install a optima Redtop battery and never saw the problem again. Later i notis a little drain on battery but never found the problem and I still drive it today.

Sounds like the old microprocessor problems again. If your sure the battery is good, disconnecting it for a few minutes should clear garbaged data out of the micros. Clean battery terminals with a round file to bright metal and scrape the lead poles of the battery with a knife while waiting, then a little Vaseline on the battery post, then refit.
If this clears the the problem for a while, good. If it comes back, you must find what is garbaging the micros. Glitches on the 12volt line are usually the cause.
