Town & Country Memory Seat Problem
 

I wondered if anyone hit this problem, if I'm doing it wrong (though I'm doing what the manual says) and/or if you have a solution.

I just bought an 01 T&C... it's in GREAT condition. When we try and set or use the memory seat buttons... it says... MEMORY SETTINGS DISABLED - VEHICLE NOT IN PARK. and thus won't work... even though it is in park. Is this a problem that can only be fixed by a dealership diagnosis?

Also, in this van... when in PARK... ALL the PRDNL are surrounded by a square... but when in DRIVE or any other gear... just the particular gear is highlighted. Is that normal?

I would say both issues are related have the tranny codes read see what it says
