i did check the codes and had it put on a computer but they couldnt get into the computer it wouldnt give access to them so i stared with the output sensor bc that is what the part store computer came up with and it still done it so that is why i changed it all

CHRYSLER TECH 12-28-2010 11:35 AM

a sensor like that will not shut down a computer
people at a parts store sell parts they dont fix cars take the van to a good repair shop let them hook up the scanner they have to it.

sorry i didnt ecplain well enough the first time i aready took it to a transmission shop and they could not access the transmission computer with there scanners they tried several time at more than one transmission shop however i am not sure with the newer vehicles but this one you do not have to depress the brake to put it in gear would this have anything to do with it

???

A TCM that will not respond....For more than one trans shop....and more than one scanner...Means this....

Either ALL of the trans shops that you visited are incompetent...Or ,, You ran away as soon as the "Additional diagnostic time" was mentioned....

Take the vehicle to a competent repair shop , and be prepared to shell out the cash necessary to fix it....

You have already spent too much money on GUESSWORK, that could have been used for a competent Tech to Fix it properly the First time.

CHRYSLER TECH 12-29-2010 05:44 PM

i second that notion

i wouldnt mind if someone here would take the time too liik at it but no one wants 2 they tell me 2 take it to an elictrial specialst thats why i have done all this work but i am taking it to him monday

Electrical Specialist ...."MY TAIL"....

Transmissions have been computer controlled , both foreign and domestic for over 20 years.... And something as basic as a Caravan/Voyager/T+C, should not be a diagnostic issue for any trans repair shop who is worthy of their title.

I have a hunch that there is more to this story than you Tell....

That is not to be condescending, But rather..... You are there and we are here.....You can see it, we cannot...And the one thing that is common to all of us, is The price of the un-necessary parts HURTS......

After all of these years....There is no longer any Mystique or Magic about Electronic controllers...They have a function to perform.

THINK for a moment and it will make sense...What is wrong, and what is Not right, are not the same thing.......

CHRYSLER TECH 12-31-2010 04:04 AM

things are so woven together in today's cars u haft to know about electrical to work on trim. Driveablity and 90% electrical transmission is 50% body and trim is 70% so if a trans shop cant look at it or figure it out they will be out of business soon enough.
