UK 04 Grand Voyager - Central Lock and Sliding Door not Working

Hope someone can help,

I parked and locked my car using the key fob last night. This morning went to open the car, the central lock did not work. I used the key to get in and start the car. I then came out and tried to lock the car with the fob, did not work. However, the alarm was set. Got in the car and tried to open the passenger door using the unlock door from the driver side. That did not work. The sliding door works on the driver side but not the passenger side.

I think this may be to do with a fuse but I am not sure. I also tried changing the battery on the fob. Still the same. Anyone has any thought on this?

Thanks

Hi
Do the indicators still flash when the fob is used? Are you sure yours is an 04 year (last 8 of the vin start with a 4) the 05 suffered with this and is a flash for the BCM. A battery reset will fix it short term. (disconnect battery for 5 minutes then reconnect)

Merlin,

Yes it is a an 04 Model or at least it was registered in 04. Is it a short term fix? Do I need to take it to the dealers to get it sorted out long term?

Thanks

Look at the vin number if the last 8 start with a 4 it a 04 model year if 5 it's an 05 model year. Yes dealer would need to update the BCM with new software.
