Useful devices...

I noticed Maplin's have some bargains in latest catalog.

1) "4watt solar briefcase" at £20. This is cheap. You could even buy two for that ol' flat battery problem. See Quinteq's contribution. Catalog #N05HN.
2) " Digital multimeter with transistor tester" at £10. Catalog #N19BW.
