Vibrations in recently aquired 1996 TC van

Looking for advice/opinions on the vibrations I'm feeling when I put my '96 TC van into drive. Vibrations lessen, stop after I get rolling. Tho they also start again when stopping at stop light and acceleration, till speed gets to 15-20 mph. Thanks, in advance for any insight shared.

motor mounts have been mentioned to me, tho the couple that had the van said they thought they had changed motor mounts already that it might be trans axle, but wasn't sure, didn't have time to look at van when their daughter brought it back to them

Wonder how big a job to change motor mounts? I enjoy turning a wrench and learning auto mechanics ,just don't wanna get in over my head , lack knowledge, LOL

Had a similar thing with a bad alternator before, bearings were going in that which caused the vibration, I thought it was engine mounts but the vibrations went away after the alternator was replaced due to it failing.
