Why is it necessary VIN number when change PCM (ECU) and buy it on Ebay
I have Town & Country 1996
Does the engine run if the device is connected without correct VIN number
I live in Europe in Latvia and I have not lot of engine PCM around ,locally...

VIN number tells you information about your car and its engine. So the replacement PCM will only work with certain VIN configures. (Did I just say that word).
Does that work with you.
