Wipers not working properly and few other issues
 

Hi guys

Just brought a UK spec 2001 GV 2.5 CRD LX and have noticed a few issues that i didnt pick up on the test drive.

1) Engine temp seems to take ages to get warm and i havent seen it get over 1/4 way up the gauge this was after a 40 mile trip into work. I beleive this is a Thermostat issue so will the 2002 thermostat fit a 2001 as i can get a 2002 thermostat for £60 off ebay brand new or a 2001 2nd hand unit for a 2001 also for £60.

2)Windscreen wipers will not park and also the intermitent setting is not working. I have searched and people mention some sort of relay needs checking so if someone could explain this in dummie terms that would be great.

3)CD Player not working is it easier to just rip out all the Stereo and put in an aftermarket one as i fancy one with a pop out screen with Sat nav bluetooth etc.

4)Airbag light is on all the time. I havent checked that the horn and cruise control work yet so will test this at lunch time to rule out the clockspring.
