1996 chrysler cirrus hard to start
ok need to fix this problem if you let the car sit overnight you have to have to crank on it four or five times, before it will start but it runs fine gets 32mpg on the highway. but if you turn it off and right back on it starts right up but if you let it sit for say an hour you may have to crank it one or two times. also where is the fuel pressure port and what psi should it be. thanx

sounds like a fuel pump issue cant tell u anything else about the car because U have only told us its 96 cirrus
|
its 2.5 94000 miles just changed out plugs wires cap rotor any other info you need
|
next time u try and start it turn the key one and off 3x then try and start it if it fires right up the fuel pump is leaking down

sorry about the long wait I did what you asked about turning the key back and forth three times and on the forth time I still had to crank on it for it to start. So I do remember when I took off the intake to change out the cap and rotor that the ports for it had quite a bit of carbon in it.
