99 cirrus electrical problem

I tried setting up a sound system using an EQ. I tried to tap into the radios power and remote wires. So i would have power running into the radio and eq at the same time, same for remote. Once I had it spliced and the wires together i turned the car on and tried to turn the radio on. I heard what sounded like a bass sound coming from my rear deck speakers, almost like a short bump of the speakers and that was it. Now the radio, power locks, trunk light, rear dome light, and power side view mirros do not work. I thought it was a fuse so I opened the manual and tried changing the interior fuses. I think it was fuse 14 and 5 or maybe 15 and 4. whatever the manual said controlled the power locks and interior lights, and the other for the radio. But it didn't fix it. Now the only time I can lock my power doors using the remote lock is when the key is turned on in the ignition, the arm rest control doesn't work for the locks whether the car is on or not. Any ideas what the problem could be ? I removed the extra wiring that I tried to install and put it back to "stock" but the damage was already done.
