99 Cirrus Rough Idle and Stall

The car has 182,000 miles on it. In April of this year on a warm sunny day it began to idle rough while leaving a drive through. When the check engine light came on, I went to AutoZone and had it read. It came back: P0171 Too Lean Bank 1. The guy there told me to try running Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner through it for the next few tanks and avoid "cheap gas." He cleared the message and I followed his directions, and didn't have any problems.

3 weeks ago now, the same thing started. This time when i went in the meter read too lean along with Misfire cylinder 2, 4, and 6, random multiple misfire. I changed the spark plugs, wireset, dist. rotor and cap, fuel filter and MAF sensor, and still the car stalls. I have checked for a vacuum leak, and cannot locate one.

It seems to stall on warm days, or when it reaches operating temp. I have had 2 people tell me it is the fuel pump. Does anyone know what else it could be?

I don't know if this will help you. I took mine to a mechanic and he found that the distributor was bad. I replaced that and my problems went away.
