CH2000 in Cirrus, what is it?

Hello !

I have found a unit in my car that I do not know what is. It appers to have been installed by someone that know theyre stuff. It is located under the dashboard, and is connectet to different cables in my viechle. It is a total of 7 cables comming out of it. 4 black, one connecet to a black/yellow cable, 2 connectet to a orange cable that is splittet, one connectet to a grey/orange cable. It is also comming a grey cable out of it that goes out and back again, it is not connected to anything. The last to cables is ground and positiv.

Have tried to disconnect the positive cable to see if anything stops working, but all lights, engine, windows, mirrors, powerloock, everything works as normal. It appears that it only goes power tru it when egnition is on. I can not figure out what it is !

It says: Chrysler CH2000 12VDC on it. Anyone who knows what this is?

RE: CH2000 in Cirrus, what is it?

This is an answer to this question that I had translated online by a free online translator, so it's not the best answer.

"Dette er releet til automatiske kjørelys.
Tar du ut sikringen skal kjørelysene slutte å virke,om de ikke har sluttet å virke uansett da...,vært litt krøll med de releene,er ikke å få tak i lenger heller. Kommet en ny type"

Which translates to:
"This am the relay at automatic drive. Grasping you edged protection do be about kjørelysene an end to agency they no matter has closed to agency no matter as.,vært a bit curl with the releene,er no matter to catch it further rather. Come another writing Has layer a bad design at how that is coupled at in auto. Am not mastering to consumes colors at the cables at to be clever rather , as colors becomes cast-off omhverandre in entire auto."

So take from that what you can.
Sorry, but that's the best I can do in answering your question.
