Default Replacing Factory Radio

So I have a 1998 Chrysler Cirrus and am wanting to replace the factory radio. The radio in the car is the one with the joystick fader, cassette player, am/FM, and it also has the 6 disc CD changer. How would I go about wiring this. The way I already tried did not work.

Do what i did. Buy an aftermarket receiver through Crutchfield! They will provide you with a wiring harness adapter so you don't have to cut up your wires. Worked great for my 1995 Stratus. Pretty sure you can buy just the harness adapter if you already have a radio.
