What did I do wrong? 97 Cirrus

Just did a timing belt swap on a 97 cirrus 2.5 v6 with 48k miles, changed most of the gasket except the head gasket while the engine was out of the car, freeze plugs, and replaced the ps rack and the ps pump.

Now after getting it all back together I go to start it up and it's acting like the gas is pressed all the way down not stopping until it hits the limiter so I have to cut it off quick.

It'd looked like the upper intake manifold wasn't seated quite right on the lower so I tried to fix that but it didn't do anything so it might possible be warped.

Question is can an intake gasket leak/warped intake cause it to go to hit the rpm limiter like that or should I look elsewhere?

you created a vacuum leak

That's what I figured, I just have to find it now... I'll post back when I find it.

I got it fixed. Huge leak in the intake, I had to bolt it from the outside in, helms manual doesn't state which way to do it so I did the usual inside out.
