Grand Voyager 2007 - headlight polish
 
The headlights on our Grand Voyager were a little foggy so I thought I'd try to improve both, their appearance and their efficiency by polishing them.

It took a few hours of work but the results were actually more than what I was expecting when I started.

Here are a few pictures showing where I started and how they turned out.

Prepared everything by washing and masking around.

Polished using various grid size papers. Started with 800 grit sandpaper, then 1200 grit after which I moved to 2000 and finally 3000 grit. The headlights looked really foggy and that got me worried I must say. This is how they looked after sanding them:

After the sandpaper I polished them using a headlight (plastic) polishing paste and applied the special coating.
The final results were absolutely outstanding. Take a look:
