2000 LHS overheating

Hello! I am in some serious need of help, here. Anyone who can shed light on this lil problem of mine would really make my day! I bought a LHS knowing it overheated. Other than that, she is perfect! However, I have now replaced the timing belt, water pump, two thermostats (one after market, which we then switched to the manufacturers thinking that was the deal), head gasket, and radiator. I also had the heads pressure checked for leaks, flushed the coolant system, and, ofcourse, checked fluid levels...not necessarily in that order. I only paid $2200 for the car and have now put $3000 in it trying to fix the "lil overheating" problem I have. I know it is not the gauge because the engine gets hot. We had heard that there was sediment blocking a lot of the 2000's, but flushing didn't seem to produce any obvious problem. It is not the fans as they are cycling on and off, and not a fan relay. I have an awesome mechanic, but he is just as stumped as the rest of us. Can anyone relate to this? Thanks again!
