2000 TC auto shutdown relay clicking continually no power to start

Need some advice as to where to start to diagnose problem. I replaced radiator and cooling fan relay. reattached negative battery cable and noticed single contact click coming from PDC inserted ignition key turned to on and PDC relays started clicking and had no power in start mode. Turned key off and noticed the auto shutdown relay was clicking constantly and did not stop until I disconnected battery. I suspected new cooling fan relay may be problem so I reattached old fan relay but no difference. I swapped ASD with another relay still no help. Checked all fuses in PDC all OK. Don't know where to go next any help would be appreciated. You may contact me directly via email if preferred: woodhog@windstream.net Man it is hot here today in NW Arkansas 104deg enough to make a Razorback sweat!

I went back oer all the things that I did and recalled that I had sprayed some degreaser on the area around the trans cooler connections and discovered that I had sprayed one of the large connectors under the PDC. I pulled it apart and it was full of oily degreaser. I am trying to clean it out but not haing much luck getting it dried out. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

You can buy electrical contact cleaner at the parts store. It's made for cleaning those things. It's safe for use on plastic.
