3.5 v6 no start

Hey, all great forum here; stumbled in a while back and now I could use a little help. I have a 1995 new yorker and I love it. It is (was) very reliable. But while driving home it just quit running! and will not start.

first thought 1.Out of gas put some in. No start
second thought2.broken timing belt. pulled cover its there and turning the cams
third thought 3.bad cam sensor or crank sensor changed both. No start
fourth thought 4.bad coil. It is getting fire on #2 & #5 plugs only, changed coil. No start No change in fire to dead plugs.
fifth thought5.bad pcm. changed pcm got 1 from salvage yard. No start
sixth thought6.bad wires from pcm. Traced all wires and tested with meterno faults
seventh thought 7.take it to a mechanic.took it to well recommended mechanic he says the timing belt has slipped and ruined the valves and that I should scrap the car. I tend not to believe this, not calling him dishonest, I just think he is busy and does not want to go through the long process of diagnosing the problem.

Any help that anyone could give will be appreciated I have money and other cars so I could buy another one I just like this one.
