Help need a radio code

re chrysler radio code
I have owned 7 Chryslers over the years and current own a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Voyager and every one has needed a radio code. The fact that when this radio is fitted to my Jeep the display says CODE, is a clue that this one is no different and will require a code.

Yes that must be it. Glad we got that cleared up. Your profile didn't show your location. US Chryslers do not have this feature. Hope you find your answer Not even the Crossfires had codes but they take special keys to remove the radio. I do know of some import cars TO US having codes. I believe the first I ever knew of was VW.

If you still have the manual for it then the code should be in there.
If not, then try removing the stereo and seeing if the code is written anywhere on it.
Next bet is to try your dealer with the info you've given here and maybe your VIN number.
If all that fails then look in your local newspaper for anybody advertising car stereo unlocking services.
