09 Town & Country Touring P0303 Code

Receiving code P0303 Cylinder 3 misfire detected on a 2009 Town and country touring 3.8 V6. Check engine light has been on and off for about a month and a half. Disappears sometimes but recently has been steady on. Had 2 instances where the car did hesitate/drop idle when car was at a stop light. Other than that we haven't had any noticeable problems. Car has 98,000 miles on it. Heading on a road trip soon and would really like to take the minivan with the family instead of the sedan. Any help would be appreciated! Could this be spark plugs or its cables/wires? What should I look for? I'm looking to get this fixed so that I can take this car on our upcoming road trip. Bought the car used with 26k miles and really haven't done much but regular oil changes and one complete transmission replacement which was under full factory warranty

Thank you, I replaced the spark plugs, wiring and the ignition coil since it all cost me under $100 in parts. I reset the code and after about 100 miles I received the same code stating cylinder 3 misfire detected. The car is driving fine with no hesitation, but because the check engine light is on, car starter will not operate. What would you recommend checking next? And if you can, is there anything visible I can check for? Thanks again
