Question 1994 Chrysler LHS Electrical Issues

I just picked up this car for a second vechicle, and it has a few issues.

1) The defrost is always on and hot! I have been taking out the fuse when not needed, but its geting old. It has a push button type of control panel. (not digital) It has Auto Temp Control, but it just blows hot all the time.
It won't switch to any other function when selected. The rear defrost doesn't go on either.

2) The radio only plays on the left side. Front and rear, but only left.

3) The gas guage goes up to the amount of gas in tank, then down to empty, and back and forth intermittently.

Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

You'll need a new control head. Those things were awful and succeptible to humidity. Junkyard is probably a waste of time, likely the ones there will be bad too. Check Ebay.

Trash the radio and get an aftermarket.

Sending unit on the pump is bad. Dead spot in the resistor.

Thanks my friend. Looked on Ebay already and can get a used but tested and guaranteed one for about $40.

Figured the radio unit was bad too.

I assume a new sending unit is part of the pump assembly, or can it be replaced separately?

Thanks for the help.

You probably can just get a sender but on one that old I would just do the whole assembly. It;s under a cover way back in the trunk almost at the seat back. You don't have to drop the tank.

So I got a control head from Ebay. $44 Works nicely. A/C blows like the frozen tundra of Green Bay!

However when I took out the old one the relay was missing from the back.

Could this have been the problem or was it a effort to attempt to fix the issue. I didn't want to put in the good relay for fear of blowing it up if there was a problem.

Thanks again foir you help.
