Hey!! have a problem here and hope someone can help me out! ive noticed a noise coming from the laft hand side of the car!! its an air noise (escaping) from somewhere!

thing is when i tap the breaks it goes away even with the slightest of taps it will stop but wen im off the breaks you can hear the air escaping!

please can someone help me solve this problem!

Sounds like it could be the reservoir for the power brake booster. It depends on vacuum for it's power source. Could also be a vacuum hose leading to it. Power brakes are important. Have it checked.
