2004 Sebring engine stalled on freeway - 3 times this week!!

Please help - beginning last week while driving on freeway my 2004 Sebring Limited V6 2.7L, paused/hiccuped a couple of times and then the engine stalled completely. I waited a few minutes and it started up again.

The local shop was sure it was the crankshaft sensor and/or cam sensor so they replaced both, tested it on the freeway, and it stalled again. Next day, with diagnostic equipment in car, for a quick moment they saw a computer relay code, so replaced that part, tested it on freeway, and again engine stalled. They say (with the exception of the computer relay code), that it's not throwing any other codes.

It's been a good car, they say they've checked everything else - wires, compression, etc, please what are your thoughts?

what are the codes in the computer?

They didn't tell me the code number, but the one and only code they've seen throughout their diagnostic analysis is the code referring to a possible faulty computer relay switch.

cant help much with the info you have provided

Yes, this is why the mechanics are stumped - the car is not producing any codes for them to work off of.
They say they've checked the compression, spark, etc., but upon driving it on the freeway after they replaced the cam sensor and crankshaft sensor, it stalled again. And then once again, upon test driving it after they replaced the computer relay switch (for which they did get a quick flash code on), it stalled on the freeway again.
They say if the computer isn't producing any error codes they don't know where to go..
I don't want to replace a Powertrain Control Module (PCM) at $1000, if it's something much simpler. I've read a few posts where people have replaced numerous sensors, and the computer, etc., and the engine stalling problem persists.
It came on so suddenly, I was hoping someone else had some knowledge of this problem.

"or a quick moment they saw a computer relay code, so replaced that part,"
