Never seen the pigtail at the Multi switch do that. Obviously it happened. Almost all of the repairs I do are at that medium size white connector down by your left shin. Usually it's an ignition switch supply wire.

If you can splice wires, the dealer should be able to order you a repair pigtail kit for that. No way I would put that multi switch back in. Get a new one and a new pigtail kit. Important DO NOT forget to check the connectors down uder the drivers side for damage also.

OK, I am at a loss, replaced switch, repaired wire. still no flahers or turn signals. headlilghts OK on low, but blow fuse when put them on high?
We had the tranny replaced about a month ago. have drove with no problems. is it possible that part of the harness is kinked or has rubbed into something. not sure where the harness is located. or a spot where it could have a short.
not sure what my next step should be...
may go back to the trans shop and at least see if he will put it up on th rack and have a look see.
can I unplug all the lights, then check the harness for a short.
tired of blowing fuses every time I plug something in. is there a min resettable fuse, kinda like a breaker.
