i was at breakfast with a friend and the topic came up about his 2016 i think that one is the pacifica? he has 2 van type cars. anyway is said he could not get any radio stations from his radio that he is paying for that serious radio for. he took it to the dealer and he tld me they hooked it up to some scanner and said it did not have any codes. so they tried to get the radio once again hooked up to serious radio and they said it will not register. they claim it is the radio. so is there a way to actually test if the radio is bad? he said he does get regular over the air stations.

we did do some chat about the antenna but it kind of seems if the antenna was bad the ota channels would not come in. they want 900$ for a new radio and he said to them if he gets that radio and it still fails will he have to still pay and they said yep so it kind of seems there must be some test to see if it is the radio or not. maybe some special scanner he could stop at a radio shop and have tested.
