22" rims wrong offset. Quick question.
 

I have a 2013 Chrysler 300 Base rwd and a set of 22 inch Lexani however the offset is wrong so the tire and rim touches control arm I'm about to purchase spacers 1.5" . I've tried searching without any luck how much turning radius into my Fender will this affect if any? When the left wheel is mounted and sits flush rubbing the control arm a full right turn on a jack leaves about 1 inch before touching wheel well. So if I push this room out 1.5 inches will it hit the wheel well?

the rim is Lexani lx-15 the tires are 265 / 35 R-22

Let's see: You have 1 inch of clearance and want to know if you push the wheel out 1.5 inches will it hit? I inch minus 1.5 inches equals a negative 0.5 inches. By my arithmetic, it will interfere by 0.5 inches.

the 1" clearance was a eyeball guess. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I ordered the 1.25" spacers (4) 1.25" Hubcentric 5x4.5 Wheel Spacers | Adapters | Wheel Centric | 71.5mm | eBay

I originally bought some plain spacers from O Riley "just the disc kind" (2) of these stacked equals 5/8" and this made the tire barely touch control arm. so adding the 1.25" spacer should keep the wheel/rim approx 5/8" from control arm. My question now is if the tire does hit the front wheel well when turning is their any type of mods that can be done to "stretch" the wheel well or anything of this nature? I kno I should just get the proper off set rim but I got a hell of a deal on these rim/tire paid $500 they value $1800+ so adding a few mods is okay with me if possible.

If a 5/8 inch spacer is almost enough and a 1.5 inch spacer causes a half inch interference, then a 1.0 inch spacer would seem to be the right one to buy. What you should do is research the stock rim offset and buy a spacer that will exactly duplicate that offset with your new rims. Places like tirerack.com have calculators and databases with that kind of information.

If the tire hits the wheel well, yes there is a modification you can perform. All you'll need is a pair of tin snips and a hammer.
