730N RER Unit Questions

How do I get the radio to recognize a device via USB input? I am having trouble doing so, but I think the cable I am using is not working anyway.

Also, does anyone know if replacement buttons are even available for this radio?

Thanks!

Hi D2Aspen,
Do you know whether or not your radio's software is up-to-date?

I'll have to check. But I am not 100% sure if it is. I am familiar with checking though.

Ok great. It's possible that this is just an issue with having outdated software. Let me know!

Oh! I was referring to the actual buttons. Not the functionality. The previous owner chipped away the finish on three buttons.

As far as the USB recognition, is my iPod supposed to work with just a usb wire? I thought only 2009+ RER systems did?

This is what I'm referring to about the buttons.

Sorry for the misunderstanding! Could you PM me your VIN so I can look into this further?

Reviving a dead thread here.

I was updating the Maps in my wife's T&C yesterday, the service update went through flawlessly, but when I inserted the maps CD, the install just stopped. Now none of the buttons are working and I either get stuck with the Chrysler logo on the screen or it goes to the tuner without and output or responsiveness to the soft buttons. I have tried the fuse/battery reset. I tried the engineer menu but without the soft buttons working, nothing.

I called the HERE service line and they are saying I might need the whole thing re-calibrated. Anyone with any insight or suggestions?
