Best way to keep an engine in storage from seizing

I have a spare 2.5l engine. Im not sure what Im going to do with it yet but want to be sure it doesnt seize up. Whats the best way to keep it from doing so. Is there a way I can get some oil down in there occasionally and give teh harmonic balance a spin ?

Chris,
I would put a fresh change of oil in the crankcase (synthetic). Remove the plugs and squirt some in each cylinder. Turn the engine over with a breaker bar and socket while the plugs are out to get some oil circulated (I'm assuming the engine is out of the car?). Replace the plugs finger tight. Remove/replace plugs and repeat cranking procedure periodically - once a month might be good. Also, you may want to remove the valve cover and coat all that stuff with oil too. Get all the fuel out you can as well. It really depends on how long you think the storage period will last.
