A cd is stuck in the factory stereo in my '05 Sebring. It's happened on occasion before, but has come out eventually (by pressing eject repeatedly or turning the car off and on). But this one's been stuck for a week and I'm tired of listening to the radio. The cd does play - sometimes. I can't always switch to it when I press "mode" - which leads me to believe there's something else going on besides a faulty "eject" button. I'd really like to get the cd out. Any tips?

 

Take the radio apart to get the CD out and buy a new radio on eBay.

 

Try disconnecting the battery. Then wait five minutes or so and re-connect. It might re-set the radio's brain. I was able to get my 01's radio to work that way, but there are no guarantees and it's probably a sign the radio's failing.
