chrysler grand voyager starting problem

Please help!! i think i am being taken for a ride, my voyager won't start, and the garage have had it now 2 months, im actually english i hope you don't mind me using your website, but it looks a good one!! ... basically the car has a immobiliser problem i think as the key fobs dont work and immobiliser light flashes when you try to start it, i have had the keys recoded and ECU sent off for recoding as well, that didn't work, actually it did work for one day and then same problem, now they are saying its the alarm module and possibly BCM module, both of which would need replacing costing more than the cars worth? i just wondered if anyone knows whether thats a sort of common fault on these, or what else could it be? thanks

does your dash cluster work when this issue is goinf on? like the guages and lights on the cluster? U only have an alarm on this van not an immobiliser.
