Drivers side front window problem

Again on my 02 Sebring, the drivers front power window stopped working. I replaced the window motor (but not the regulator) and it still doesn't work. All other windows work just fine. Any tips (or ref websites) on how to remove the regulator and/or how to troubleshoot this problem ? Any ideas and tips are very much appreciated. Thx !

RE: Drivers side front window problem

I've got the same problem with my Sebring's passenger window. It didn't go down with the driver's switch, but did go down with the passenger switch. Then it wouldn't go up. I thought of the motor right away, but then I tested for power.... yep, only in the down position, not up. So for now I reversed the wires and plugged the motor back in to get my window up so wifey can use the car at least.
Could this have to do with the drivers door switch? Obviously the motor works both ways. There is no power to the motor from the driver's side when pressed up or down, and then there is only power to the motor when the passenger's is pushed down.
Anyone?
