Default Heater

I am trying to find out what the problem is with my 2005 Chrysler Sebring Limited. It is very cold outside and it go out to start the car go in and come back out in 10 minutes. I have the heat turned up full blast and it is still blowing out really cold air. I drive it and it is still blowing out very cold air. Now not until I get on the interstate and go about 70 mph does it blow out decent hot air but when I slow back down the very cold air comes back. Whats the problem? Its 5 degress below zero and I drive for a half hour to work and I can still see my breath when I am sitting in my car at work. Please help me.

There are many reasons why you might not have heat. Low coolant can certainly be one of them. Plugged heater core, plugged heater hose, malfunctioning blend door, non-functioning controls.
Check the heater hoses when the car is warmed up. If the heater is working properly, both should be warm, on maybe a little warmer than the other. If one is cold and one is hot, or both are cold, then there's a blockage. It could be the hose(s) or could be the heater core.
