Le Baron 1993 conertible hood exchange
 

Hi technicians,

my wonderful LeBaron's convertible hood unfortunately was badly rippoed this winter. However, I have another quite identical car with a gearbox damage, where I use to take parts from whenever anything is needed. Now, since the top wasn't ver good anyway, I thought the best solution is to replace the whole mechanism from the spare car to the one I drive.

My problem is: The spare car is a LeBaron 1994, VDS: EUB532, while the one I drive (and hopefully will drive infuture) is a LeBaron 1993, VDS: XUB530.

How can I find out if both convertible mechanisms are exctly the same? And is there a repair intruction available? I think I can manage the excange also without manual, but it would be good to know whethr tey both are identical.

Check with the parts department at your local dealership. Their parts manuals might go back that far even if they can't still order parts. If the part numbers for the frame are the same, you're good.
