no power, new battery.. HELP

Default no power, new battery.. HELP

I have a 2006 chrysler 300 2.7l. Every now and again ill go out.. start my car and it will be fine. But the i switch on the lights or roll the window down and the car dies.. everything turns off as if it was a short. Nothing works no horn no lights no nothing. The key wont lock or unlock it. But then in a few hours i go out and its perfectly fine like nothing ever happened.. and then a few days pass and it will do it again
. And this time its been a day and its still dead... please help!!

Look for corrosion on the cables leading to the battery, both at the battery and at the far ends of the cables. You may need to disconnect, clean and re-connect.

Agree with everything dcotter says, symptoms described certainly sound like an electrical connection issue.

I agree... A car's electrical system is one of the most important parts to maintain in order for your vehicle to function correctly. Its not just the battery, but also the connections that are important. Keep them clean too, in order to avoid overtaxing of your starter.
