Problem with cruise control.

I have a 04' Concorde and the cruise control light stopped working on the dash- the cruise control still works, but the light does not come on when I am using it- I looked for a fuse but cannot find one- anyone know what could be causing this?

maybe the light is burned out.

Thank you for the information- I thought about the light being burned out, but the rest of the instrument lights are working fine, and I thought they were all in the same "cluster". If it is the light bulb, how would you go about replacing it- without taking the entire instrument panel out?

Any information would be helpful!

Thanks,

I assume it's similar to my Sebring, in which the indicator bulb is a bulb, as opposed to an LED. I am also assuming the bulb is replaceable, although I have never done it. It may be soldered in place, which would make replacing it problematic. Anyway, you'll have to remove the instrumant cluster to get to it, which makes the whole thing moot, I expect, from your comment.

When you turn the key on, without starting the engine, does the cruise light come on for a few seconds? If so, it's not the bulb.

And no, the fact that some bulbs are "working fine" is no indicator that all of them are working. One bulb can burn out.

Thank you for the information- since the cruise works, I will just leave well enough alone!! I appreciate your response.
