Remote Start

My wife's 300 has a mopar remote start installed by the dealer around 2 years ago, work fine till last week. It'll start just fine, and then shut off in around 5 seconds, try it again it'll do the same thing, start for 5 secconds, and shut off. Any ideas would be apprciated.

Yes, everything else is as it should be, it's just the thing with the remote start runs 5 seconds, and shuts down

No they program it to your exsisting key, it runs about I think 450 or so, if I had the install booklet that comes with the kit, I remember there was something in there about my fault that shows up.

RE: Remote Start

Could it be a door switch that is malfunctioning? Maybe the under hood switch is vibrating and shutting the engine? It must be a switch some where, maybe the brake light switch? The run time should be programmable but I doubt that a 5 second run time isan option.
My factory remote start on the 07 Hemi Ram will only let you remote start 2 times between normal key start cycles.

Good Luck
