Slight squeak during soft acceleration??

Hi everyone, I am now the proud owner of a Chrysler p.t cruiser! This has been my dream car, since they were first released, and now after waiting 11 years for one to come into my price range, I now have one!!!!!:D
Everything seems fine, its a '51 plate,so its quite old (bless her!) but I love her!! BUT I've noticed a very faint squeaking noise during soft acceleration?? I suspect its a belt? My last cars cambelt snapped, which ended up damaging the engine, and was to expensive to fix,so I am very careful NOT to let this happen for my precious Chrysler! any ideas anyone?????

For starts.... nothing wrong with changing belts & hoses on a 11 yr. old car.
It is just simple, preventative maintenance.

Thanks for the advice?

I thought the same, didn't really wanna spend any more money at the moment, but obviously if I don't replace it now its gonna cost me a hell of alot more if it goes!
