1995 Lebaron Alarm issue?
 

Hi everyone. My wife acquired a 95 Convertible (her first car was a 93 Lebaron) and we're going to get it roadworthy.

So first thing is the engine will not start (I do not hear the fuel pump kick on either). Now, the engine DID start and run when she got it, but now it doesn't. There is such odd behavior with the keys and the alarm indicator it leads me to think something is up with the alarm. If you open the door, the alarm set light is flashing and the door alarm is going off. If you try to start the car, it will crank, but no start. If you lock the doors and open with the KEY, sometimes the alarm light goes off, but still will not start. Almost all the time, when you remove the key, the door alarm continues to go off until you close the door.

Now, sometimes you can use the unlock button on the alarm AND unlock the car with the ey and the car will start for a moment, but shuts down after about 5 seconds.

Honestly i'm at a loss on where to start checking on this. Throw me an idea and i'll check it out and report back. (yes, fuses have been checked, but i can not say all the relays are good)
