Convertible top switch

I've got a restored '94 Lebaron convertible. The top switch works fine when putting the top down but when putting it up it becomes intermittent. I can press the up button and nothing happens about once out of every three attempts.
My question: Does a replacement switch HAVE to be specifically for a convertible top or can any rocker switch that goes to the neutral position when I take my finger off of it be ok, providing it can take the current? I can relocate the switch if necessary.
I don't want to get involved in hunting for another switch from an old Lebaron if I don't have to. Thanks.

Any three way rocker that automatically re centers itself should work, because the switch only triggers a relay that takes most of the load.
Save your old one and rebuild it with a new rocker and put it aside as a spare.
If that one at the link later fails, rebuild it the same way.

Thank you for your response, BiliTheAxe. I was glad to see you confirm my idea that any rocker switch that returns to neutral when you take your finger off of it should work. Thanks also for the link for the used one. I'll look into that as well. It's good to have options.
Good advice about having the existing one rebuilt too. I did that with both rear window motors and now I have a couple of spares.
3 years ago I had the top replaced, both cylinders, both latches, and the top motor. The switch was not replaced at that time because it was working properly.

I've include photos of what it looks like now and what it looked like when I bought it for $100.

Update. Thanks again BiliTheAxe. I bought the switch from the link you sent me. It'll be here May 7th. My nephew, a pro mechanic and the reason this car is still on the road at 266,000 miles and counting, will install it. Can't thank you enough.

I have one more question. How would I know for sure it's the switch and not the relay?

Disconnect the switch and use jumper wires on the plug to check the relay.
If it works fine that way, the switch is bad.

Will do. Thanks.
