FM antenna ???

Found this when removing the left rear interior side panel. The car has an antenna mounted on the right fender as all the others I've seen. What is this?

Might have been something a previous owner installed.
Might have been connected to a remote kill switch installed by a finance company for people who didn't keep up with payments.

Could be lots of things on an old car.
