Since your post doesn't say what kind of car it is or what year, we'll not bother with details. If you can find a shop manual for the car, like Chilton's or Haynes, or even a factory manual, it'll make the job a lot easier. Look on line for a parts diagram. There are sites that sell Chrysler parts and they often have diagrams of the parts in an "exploded" view that will be quite helpful in determining how the parts are put together. Spend a few bucks and buy a set of plastic trim tools. They are cheap and worth their weight in gold for prying apart things that are clipped together without leaving ugly scars.
Car interiors are made to go together very quickly and easily in the assembly plant and not come apart easily. They make extensive use of clips and other fasteners that will accomplish that end. The problem is, they are all hidden from view once it's put together so sometimes you can't tell whether it's going to come apart without breaking it.
Start by examining the area you want to disassemble very carefully. Look for screws that you can remove. Using the trim tools for leverage, see if you can lift up parts that need to be removed. If it will lift a little, look underneath to see if there are clips. Pry very close to the clips so as to minimize the chance of breaking the part. It's mostly plastic and will break if you overstress it. Take your time and use your head. Don't disassemble anything that you don't have to.

When it''s time to put it back together, it'll go much quicker.
