tow dolly
 
I am going to "haul" my lebaron convert around on a tow dolly,can anyone help me with the procedure ,I amnot sure I want to leave it in park as that would put a lot of stress on parking pawl ,BUT DOLLY manual says so.
please help ,because on Monday I will be taking a 300 mile tow to get her home

Don't understand your concern. ANY car properly loaded on a car dolly requires the use of wheel straps that "lock" the front wheels from movement during towing. IF you want to go to extreme measures,disconnect the shift cable from the shift lever on the trans while in neutral and then put the shifter in park to be able to turn the key all the way off. Just remember that you will have to reattatch the shift cable to back it off the dolly when you get home! But in my opinion NOT NECESSARY!

thanks ,my concern was as the car moves up and down on the "bumps" it would cause some rotation to the axles BUT sounds like I am over thinking
