3.5 engine

Hi I am new to forum. I recently changed engines in my 03 Concorde. The replacement engine was already out so I did not get the Vin off it. My car is Vin G. Both are 3.5 HO but ever since engine swap the engine is hard to start and bad miss at 2300 rpm. Also sets codes for cam/crank sensors. Replaced both those. Idles great, smooth. Checked timing all marks on at TDC. The cam sensor has a deep rub mark on one side on bottom. My question is if the new engine was sbec wiring and mine is 4 plug NGC wiring would the engine run at all. Please Help. Thanks

Kevin. I did like all your replies and gave you an excellent rating. I probably messed up on the number part of the rating. I thought 4 was the highest. I felt like you gave me my monies worth so I did not want to keep bothering you. Sorry

Thanks. I checked that link out. That is a lot of parts to change. My engine will start. Although slow to start. it will idle perfect. Misses at 2300 rpm. That makes me believe the wiring part must be ok. Just keeps setting cam sensor code, and the sensor is getting wear marks when it shouldn't be. What do you think?
Thanks Everyone for the info.

DId u ever send me that vin I dont remember?
And that was also a bit of info that u did not tell me that U changed out engines already I was only going off of the fact that U had a cam sensor code.
SO what U might have is a different year engine and U are getting parts for the year car u have.

Cam sensor must be spaced away from cam tone wheel. New sensors have a paper shim on them that must be left on at install. Shim is around .030" thick. There have been rare cases of loose tone wheels so you may want to check if a second sensor has been damaged..

Ok just checked computer codes again. Now I am getting Map sensor, Crank sensor, and Cam sensor codes. Any idea's on what could cause this.

Thanks

Also of the three wires on the map sensor the green/red wire has no fire on it anytime.
