Grand voyager electric door not releasing
 

Hi hope I can get some help cause it's driving me mad I have a grand voyager 2005 Ltd xs
I replaced the damaged wiring loom on the rear electric door and it now closes but it will not unlatch when pressing the remote or internal button it opens and closes manually and if I unlatch the door manually then press the button it opens electricly but just won't unlatch an the motor seems to be trying to lock sometimes when it is already locked any help would be greatly appreciated thank u
