Head gasket replacement for 2.7 V6 2008 Chrysler Sebring

Hi, my V6 2008 Chrysler Sebring 2.7L head gasket blew. I am trying to replace it and I need to know if I should use the metal gasket or paper gasket. And if I am using the paper gasket, is it advisable to double the gasket? Thanks

Use ONLY the proper part for the engine. Unless you like doing the job and want to do it again in a couple of months.

Thus the reason am asking these questions, so I don't do the repairs twice, Which one is the PROPER gasket to use?

You go to the parts store. You tell them that you need a head gasket for your 2008 2.7L Sebring. There will be only one proper replacement for your engine, possibly manufactured by different sources. It won't be paper by the way. The only way you'll get a paper head gasket is if you make it yourself. While you're there you might want to pick up a shop manual because replacing the head gasket is not just a matter of popping the cylinder head off and sticking a new gasket in place. You will be disassembling the valve train and other components in the process and if you don't do it right you can destroy the engine.
