New member in western North Carolina
Hi folks - On August 3rd I took possession of an incredibly well-kept 2000 Sebring JXI in inferno red. Unbelievable! 153,000 miles and it's like driving a brand-new car! Light tan leather upholstery (would you call it beige?), sandalwood top, autotrans, cruise, aftermarket Alpine CD/radio that can control a changer (not in car), original factory Infiniti speakers, power seat-windows-locks, abs, display for gas mileage, range, temperature, etc., fog lights - and everything works! The engine and ride are both so smooth and quiet, you just wouldn't believe it's a 9-year-old car with that mileage!
This is the first Chrysler Corp product I've ever owned and is also my first convertible. I'm a young 68 (Sept 14) and had always wanted to have a convertible. I think this car could go another 75,000 miles. I joined the CSCC earlier, and am enjoying that membership also. I'm a train enthusiast and belong to many railroad organizations and subscribe to several "railfan" magazines. I've "shot" many steam-train videos over the years, and I also collect railroad books and DVDs. One of my life "mottoes" is "I love old trains, old planes, old cars, and young women"!! I will be sending a photo of my Sebring as soon as I learn how to do it. Thanks, John |
