PT Cruiser DRL

I have purchased a 2007 PT in California and brought it back to British Columbia , BC has a regulation that we must have driving lights on all our Cars. I had a Mech install a DRL module in the car , the problem was (after a couple of installations) it would only work with the low beam headlights, and after a while if I was running the high beams the Low beams would flash. Have it back at the shop but they said I would have to get the Chrysler module (worth more than the car) can anyone tell me or show me where the DTL module is on the car so I can get rid of the item they installed.

The DRL module is part of the instrument cluster/body control module.
Since unless I am mistaken, you only need lights on, on the front of the car in the daytime. Perhaps you could install a set of aftermarket fog lights, and have them wired to a relay that is powered by a connection in the wiring that only has power when the ignition is turned on.
